Yeast is present in all chronic diseases. In the 1980’s, Tulio Simonchini, M.D., hypothesized yeast was the cause of cancer; and was criticized and persecuted for expressing his opinion. Yeast develops in an environment created by chronic intracellular infection, in response to low oxygen and low ATP in the cell; and the pathogen consuming sugar and causing fermentation. Yeast hides pathogens from the immune system and helps pathogens survive and thrive.
A newly diagnosed cancer patient already has chronic immortal infections, chronic immune dysfunction, and a chronic yeast infection! Treating yeast may be one method to deprive cancer of the environment needed for survival, aid the immune system in fighting the immortal pathogens, and improve the prognosis. Treating yeast alone does not address the root cause of cancer—chronic infection with immortal intracellular pathogens are creating the environment for development of cancer and yeast.
