The danger of transmission of toxoplasmosis is greatest when in contact with feral cats, kittens, and recently infected cats.
Toxoplasmosis has been tied to autoimmune disorders, mental disorders, seizure disorders, and childhood epilepsy “syndromes”; and has now also been “associated” with decreased cognitive function. Toxoplasmosis has been associated with Alzheimer’s, and an increased risk of brain cancer.
Prevention of toxoplasmosis is the best course of action to preserve health. Few doctors consider or attempt to diagnose toxoplasmosis in chronic disease, and effective treatments at a reasonable price are
