Chlamydia pneumonia can evolve into Alzheimer’s disease over time

Carolyn Merchant Blog 0 0

We are excited to share this post from the Intracell Research Group, and the latest article published Feb. 17, 1922, on the role of chlamydia pneumonia in Alzheimer’s disease. The article validates what we said in the book, on our prior social media posts, and in other forums, with regard to chronic chlamydia pneumonia causing Alzheimer’s, and the mechanisms by which the pathogen evolves into Alzheimer’s over time. https://www.facebook.com/1988481734755155/posts/3115255915411059/ https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-022-06749-9?fbclid=IwAR0FBwRyXOxocNy5jxf9dkomTqRBFk-EvkLMnY-y_RNqqyknoUOMJcB31vw

Alzheimer’s, AMD, and cardiac disease are co-morbid conditions with common origins

Carolyn Merchant Blog 0 0

Alzheimer’s is not the only disease in which deposits of extracellular lipids, proteins, and cellular debris are found. Chlamydia species are known to generate proteins, debris, clumps and plaque, and the type of chlamydia may determine the type and location of plaque—in the heart, brain, and/or eyes, and inside or outside blood vessels and nerve sheaths. Deposits of clumps of proteins, etc., in the retina, are a predictor of AMD.   Alzheimer’s, AMD, and cardiac disease are common co-morbid conditions,…..

Dr. Brian Balin discusses Alzheimer’s Disease

Carolyn Merchant Blog 0 0

Attached is an interview of Dr. Brian Balin, Director of the Center for Chronic Disorders of Aging – Basic Science at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He is the Chair of the Department of Bio-Medical Sciences and Professor of Neuroscience and Neuropathology; and an internationally recognized leader in Alzheimer’s disease.  He is interviewed by Nikki Schultek, Principal and Founder of the Intracellular Research Group.    The intracellresearchgroup.com has links to scientific articles supporting infectious causes of Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis, arthritis,…..

The eyes are a window into health

Carolyn Merchant Blog 0 0

The eyes are the window to the soul: The eyes are also a window into health! The eye is a microcosm of what is happening inside the body, can predict and identify chronic disease, and can give clues to the pathogens involved in chronic disease. The vessels in the eye can predict cardiovascular disease, heart attack, stroke, and Alzheimer’s disease, before these diseases are diagnosed. The iris can potentially predict cancer, metastatic cancer, and the organs affected by cancer. During…..

Pathogens acquired in utero or as an infant can cause chronic diseases

Carolyn Merchant Blog 0 0

In adults, chronic chlamydia can cause cardiovascular disease, neurologic disease, premature cataracts, and other chronic diseases. Chlamydia pneumonia and/or trachoma acquired in utero or as an infant can cause damage to an infant’s brain, heart, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, eyes, and/or neurologic system; and can cause fetal strokes, which lead to cerebral palsy. Toxoplasmosis can also cause central nervous system disease; and toxoplasmosis acquired in utero or as an infant has been hypothesized to cause of cerebral palsy and regressive…..

Moving on from associations to causation in research

Carolyn Merchant Blog 0 0

Medical research seeks to expand knowledge, and observe findings and characteristics in chronic disease; but, is seldom designed to identify a cause of chronic disease. Researchers may search for a single pathogen, and not consider the effect of multiple pathogens working together to cause chronic disease; or that different pathogens or combinations of pathogens can cause the same chronic disease in different patients.  Reports on the outcomes of medical research are often limited to reports of “associations”, between pathogens and…..

Adjacent tissue important to research into chronic disease

Carolyn Merchant Blog 2 0

Dr. Brian Balin and his team at Johns Hopkins and the Hahnemann School of Medicine identified Chlamydia pneumonia in tissue adjacent to Alzheimer’s plaque. USCF studied cells adjacent to cancer; and found cells which were not cancer but were not normal, and had the same molecular properties as Chlamydia. The Mayo Clinic found polyps adjacent to colon cancer had different “genetic” properties, which were not cancer but were not normal. The study of adjacent tissue appears to be an important…..
