Alzheimer’s disease is now the 5th leading cause of death in the U.S. Alzheimer’s cases are up 89%, since 2000. Congress says the care of Alzheimer’s patients costs $153 Billion per year. See Leslie Norins, MD, Ph.D, https://alzgerm.org/whitepaper.
Why is the rate and cost of Alzheimer’s increasing? It is because doctors are failing to diagnose and treat chlamydia pneumonia in acute or chronic disease; doctors and patients have become reluctant to prescribe or take antibiotics; and when an antibiotic is prescribed and taken, too often it is a penicillin type of drug, which can potentiate the underlying intracellular infection. Chronic chlamydia pneumonia can evolve over decades to become Alzheimer’s disease.
