The medical system identifies symptoms and findings, names diseases, and offers symptomatic treatment. John D. Rockefeller made his fortune in a German pharmaceutical company, by implementing a campaign against the use of natural (herbal) remedies, so that he could put plant compounds into a pill and obtain patents for the pills. He once said “A pill for every ill”. The medical system often continues with the goal in research and treatment of “a pill for every ill”, rather than a pill or other form of treatment for the cause of a disease.
The human body is pre-programmed to respond to pathogens with specific types of immune cells attacking specific types of pathogens, in a specific sequence. The immune system is relatively ineffective against intracellular pathogens, which causes immune cells to trigger a higher level of inflammation. Chronic intracellular infection can spread silently, generating cell debris and broken proteins, weakened immunity, impaired cell function, inflammation, new blood vessels, loss of programed cells death, scarring, plaque, changes in biochemistry and changes in genes. The type of immune cells that are elevated and elevated markers of inflammation can be a clue to the type of underlying infection.
Let’s ask what pathogens could generate the symptoms and findings? Let’s investigate all diseases of unknown cause for infectious origins. Let’s reexamine genetic diseases to determine if infectious pathogens changed genes or genes independently caused the disease. Based on known science, one or more root infectious cause could explain many chronic diseases, including some diseases thought to be genetic.
